Everybody is fighting to have a good, consistent life, right? It's important to look up to those who provide us with the much needed motivation from time to time, and that's exactly what Cleveland Cavaliers' star NBA player Tristan Thompson does. Wednesday night he will play in the Cleveland Cavaliers final game of the season, and although there's nothing on the line for his team, there's one personal goal that he's proud of, and we should all look to implement in our own life, whatever way that might be. Tristan will of started two seasons worth of games consecutively, meaning he has started a whopping 164 games without fail.

For a few seasons the Cavaliers have had many ups and downs, but one thing has stood tall and not been moved, and that's Thompson's place in their line-up. If you're wondering how close he came to missing a game, he tells the Cavaliers website, saying "Yeah, there were two games for sure right off the top of my head. One was the food poisoning game against the Clippers, where I was just so drained out. But it was a West Coast trip and guys were playing well and I just wanted to be part of that and do whatever it takes to help my team win."

So how does Tristan keep his Iron Man presence intact? He explained "I think I've just been very durable. And I've been fortunate and blessed to be able to have the body and, I guess, the makeup that I have where I kind of tough things out. And my game is about energy, so me being able to do that for two seasons in a row hopefully says a lot about the player that I am and what I'm about."

It seems like even when times are tough for Tristan, he never gives up, nor makes excuses, and that's an approach that could benefit any body in life. Thompson's never give up attitude is one to copy.
