One Direction's Zayn Malik and Liam Payne talk 'ideal girlfriends' in new interview: Do Perrie Edwards and Sophia Smith fit these guidelines?

We all love it when the members of One Direction talk about what they look for in their ideal girlfriends. Though most of the boys are in committed relationships, they still entertain the topic. In a new interview with Teen Now, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik let us in on their respective ideals for the women they love and look to love!

These answers most like describe Liam's girlfriend Sophia Smith and Zayn's fiancée Perrie Edwards, but let's see how close WE can get to these personality guidelines for the boy band heartthrobs!

"[I'm looking for] A good listener who takes interest in what you say," Zayn told the magazine. "If they take time out to speak to you, it's attractive."

Zayn's known to be the quiet member of One Direction, so make sure to keep up the conversation if you're hoping he somehow gets single sometime soon!

Liam answered: "I like cute, shy girls with really nice eyes."

Payne also revealed he was a smooth operator way before his days in One Direction.

"I once took flowers around to a girl when she wasn't feeling very well," the hunk said.

So make sure you're shy and play up your eyes if you're hoping Liam becomes single soon. Maybe fake an illness to get flowers from him, too!

Obviously we aren't hoping these boys fall out of love with their lovely significant others ... but we can dream can't we?
