Watch: Breathtaking 'Skywind' developer update of 'Skyrim' and 'Morrowing' mashup in 12-minute in-game and 'making of' video

If you are not familiar with Skywind, the ambitious gaming project from "The Elder Scrolls Renewel Project," then boy are you in for a treat. This group of developers has come together to basically make a "mashup" of classic Elder Scrolls games, Skyrim and Morrowind, into a brand new updated gaming experience. Thanks to a new update this week, we now can watch twelve glorious minutes of in-game and "making of" footage for this highly anticipated project.

Kotaku has been keeping us all up to date on this project. The website reports:

The ambitious plan to transport Morrowind into the engine for the more recent (and technologically sophisticated) Elder Scrolls installment Skyrim is still progressing nicely. Narrator Daniel Hodge gives some good info about how the development is coming along as the team continues grow and tinker with the world, but mostly this just gives another excuse to keep looking at the thing.
