Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo look to fire Real Madrid to Champions League glory after semi-final thrashing of Bayern Munich

Many said Gareth Bake was a waste of money, and they also said he and Cristiano Ronaldo couldn't play in the same team. The two, this season, have more than proved otherwise, yet when they drew defending champions, Bayern Munich, in the semi-finals, many were yet again quick to dismiss their chances. Real superstars Bale and Ronaldo pulled off the impossible, beating Bayern 5-0 on aggregate, bit can they win it all?

For a while now Real were trying to find the former winning mentality they once had, but it seems after many players and managers coming and going, they've found the recipe for success. Ronaldo has been a huge sensation since leaving Manchester United, but Real added Tottenham's former star Gareth Bale to the mix this season, and it's been the perfect combination. 

With the pair on different sides of the pitch teams have no idea of how to stop the dynamic duo. Bayern are one of the world's best teams, and Real wiped the floor with them as if they were second-or-third-tier opponents. With their place in the UEFA Champions League final booked, can they go all the way by winning the coveted trophy?

Real are without a doubt an unstoppable force in soccer right now, but with rumours of them signing Luis Suarez or another superstar this summer, one can wonder how Real will be dropped during the next few years?
