Johnny Manziel has been in the NFL for a matter of weeks and if the early stages are anything to go by, his career is going to be a long, eventful road. The star had troubled times in college, but appears to of matured recently, however, he was recently hit with an odd sexual harassment lawsuit. Rumours burst on to the scene suggesting that The Headlines News host Samantha Schacher had filed a complaint, but it appears it was nothing but a silly hoax.

From the get go most realized it was a horrific prank, but Schacher moved quickly to explain that she'd never even met Manziel. Johnny's agent, Erik Burkhardt, explained that they will sue the person that's to blame, saying "We absolutely will protect our client to the fullest extent of the law,'' Schacher explained her stance, saying "It's a shame you're taking advantage of the legal system. You're playing with people's reputations and careers and it's hurtful."

The $25 million lawsuit was the latest in a long line of problems Manziel has had to face, but he appears to be handing it pretty well. The lawsuit quickly became a top trend across the world, with everyone debating the false claims. Schacher believed the claims were so crazy that they made her laugh, but she was still annoyed none the less.

It seems the Browns are prepared for incidents like this, with Coach Mike Pettine saying "We're well aware of what Johnny brings to town and he's well aware of it, too. He's said all the right things. That's one of the reasons we drafted him -- because we knew he could handle it. He knew he was going to have to take a step back."

Will Manziel get some space to grow in to his new NFL career, or will he be bombarded by false claims like this?
