Reports confirm that Ann B. Davis, star of the popular 1960s-1970s sitcom "The Brady Bunch," died on Sunday morning (June 1). The beloved television icon - better known as spunky "Alice" - was 88-years-old.

According to TMZ, Davis accidentally fell in the bathroom of her Texas home over the weekend, hitting her head which ultimately caused severe damage. Apparently, the actress never regained consciousness after the tragic fall.

Davis' roommate claims that the perky "Brady Bunch" housekeeper was in pretty good shape for her age. Her death comes as a total shock to the community. Fans on Twitter have since expressed their heartfelt condolences, memories, and sorrows:

Davis played the legendary role of Alice Nelson from 1969-1974. She went on to reprise that character in several "Brady" movies and TV reunions up until the 1990s. She first made a name for herself as a female comedian on "The Bob Cummings Show" (1955-1959).

RIP, Ann B. Davis - you will be missed.

Davis was a prominent member of her church - friends are currently planning her funeral arrangements.
