‘Wedding Singer’ Rapping Grandma Dies at 101

Fans of the 1998 Adam Sandler film The Wedding Singer will undoubtedly remember Ellen Albertini Dow as the rapping grandmother who performed "Rapper's Delight" in the movie. Now, sadly, it's being reported that Dow has died at the age of 101. The actress was featured not only in the film but also the trailer, which certainly brought some more people to theaters to check out the Sandler-Drew Barrymore-led film. TMZ is reporting on the actress' death, noting that alongside the famed Sandler film, she more recently appeared on Family Guy and New Girl. Google Exec Killed in Avalanche Following Nepal Earthquake

It's being reported that Google executive Dan Fredinburg died this past Saturday in an avalanche on Mount Everest that was reportedly triggered by the horrific earthquake that occurred in Nepal. Kelly Rowland Says Her Mother Used To 'Look At Me Like I Was The Moon'

It has truly been one sad week in the world of entertainment, as fans, friends and family mourn the loss of Kelly Rowland's mother Miss Doris Rowland Garrison and Todd Tucker's mother Miss Sharon. "MStars News" previously learned that both died Tuesday, Dec. 2. Miss Sharon died in NYC from a fatal stroke, as Miss Doris died at the age of 66 in Atlanta a few days after her birthday from an unknown illness that she had been battling for some time now. Though little is known about Rowland's mother, the singer did share a touching message about Miss Doris back in 2008. According to HNGN, Rowland revealed a sweet message about her mother and Beyoncé's mother Tina Knowles on Mother's Day: Dear Momma and Mama T, God must have thought I was really special to give me two mothers. Momma, I remember when you'd clap your hands and listen as I sang along every week to the theme song for the show "Amen." You'd look at me like I was the sun and the moon and say, "Sing up, baby ... a little louder." It meant so much that you believed in me. When we had rough times in Houston, you did your best to balance our family with your job as a live-in nanny. And I know it was difficult for you to run me back and forth for rehearsals after I joined Destiny's Child. I spent a lot of nights at the Knowleses' house.
