Premier League Transfer Gossip: Chelsea Set For Sensational $130 Million Deal to Land Three Atletico Madrid Superstars

For a while now it's looked like being the craziest ever transfer window, especially for the English Premier League teams. Many clubs are in need of new players, and these clubs have a ton of spare money, with many top talents available for big fees. Several stars are predicted to both join and leave EPL sides before and after this month's World Cup. Chelsea seem to be at the forefront of the transfer rumours, with them linked with 5 new players.

The five players Chelsea are chasing the signatures of are all based in La Liga. They are after Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas and four Atletico Madrid players in Koke, Diego Costa, Diego Godin and Filipe Luis. It's believed that Koke prefers a move to Barcelona, which would leave the door open for Cesc to leave Barcelona for Chelsea. If that was to happen, Chelsea could bid around $130 million to secure the signings of Costa, Godin and Luis.

Atletico recently knocked Chelsea out of the UEFA Champions League, and it appears they're taking the 'If you can't beat them, join them' approach to a new level, by looking to bring their entire team to Stamford Bridge.

Elsewhere, Tottenham could cut their losses on Argentina flop, Erik Lamela, who had a miserable first season with the club. Serie A clubs Inter Milan, Fiorentina and Napoli are interested. Southampton look set to lose several players, and it's believed Gaston Ramirez wants to leave for yet another Serie A side, in Torino. Arsenal are still looking to bring Wilfried Bony, of Swansea, to the Emirates, but it's believed only a $30 million offer will be suffice.
