Soccer goalkeeper Hope Solo has been making a lot of noise outside of the game. The United States Women's National Team star player has been arrested for alleged domestic violence charges.

According to USA Today, the Olympic gold medalist was arrested by the police at her home. The soccer star has been charged with two counts of domestic violence. Allegedly, she got into a fight and struck both her sister and nephew.

Supposedly, a peaceful family gathering had escalated into a violent altercation. Because of a noise disturbance and assault, the police were called in at the property. The Seattle Reign FC goalkeeper is currently being held without bail.

Lt. Mike Murray states, "There was a big party going on at her house. It was an out-of-control situation."

Murray also notes, "There were visible injuries..." on Solo's sister and nephew.

Bleacher Report states that Solo would have been with her Team USA mates in a soccer match against France. That doesn't seem likely now because of her sudden arrest.

On their official Twitter, the United States Women's National Team has announced that their star player will not be at the scheduled game.

This is just sad news all around for soccer fans, Solo, and her teammates. When the sports star should have been at the game, she was instead at county jail. No release date has been noted for Hope Amelia Stevens.
