Matt Bendik, Boyfriend of 'Glee' Actress Becca Tobin, Found Dead In Philadelphia Hotel Room (PHOTOS)

Matt Bendik, nightclub owner and boyfriend of Glee actress Becca Tobin was found dead in a Philadelphia hotel room. He was 35. Sources say he was on a business trip with Tobin, 28, who plays bullying cheerleader Kitty Wilde on the FOX TV series.

The couple was out socializing with friends on Wednesday, July 9 before returning to their hotel. According to shocked friends, everything seemed normal.

A maid found Bendik's body on Thursday afternoon, which was confirmed by the Philadelphia Medical Examiner, but no other details were given.

Bendik was the owner of several clubs across the country, including celebrity hotspot DBA in Los Angeles. The club posted a tribute to Bendick on the notice board in front of the club Thursday night. It simply read, "We love you Matt."

In an eerie twist, Bendik's death comes almost a year to the day after Cory Monteith's tragic passing. The 31-year-old Glee star died in on July 13, 2013.

Monteith, boyfriend of Glee star Lea Michele, was also found dead in his hotel room at Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, by staffers who found him after he failed to check out. Glee honored the fallen star in the fifth season's third episode, "The Quarterback," which aired on October 10, 2013. The episode focused on the death of Monteith's character Finn Hudson.

It was just announced on Thursday, July 11 that Season 6 of Glee will only consist of 13 episodes.

Glee's final season will air during the mid-2015 television season.
