Barcelona Sign Luis Suarez From Liverpool In Deal Believed Worth Well Over $100 Million

Luis Suarez has joined Barcelona, from Premier League Liverpool. Nobody knows the exact fee, but it's believed that it's around $100 million. The troubled star has been a revelation when in form, but also a constant bother, breaking the laws of the games in many ways. The star, who is banned from football at the moment for his third incident of biting an opponent, has finally got his dream move.

Suarez explained the move, saying "I hope you can all understand why I have made this decision. This club did all they could to get me to stay, but playing and living in Spain, where my wife's family live, is a lifelong dream and ambition. I believe now the timing is right. It is with a heavy heart that I leave Liverpool for a new life and new challenges in Spain. Both me and my family have fallen in love with this club (Liverpool) and with the city, but most of all I have fallen in love with the incredible fans. You have always supported me and we, as a family, will never forget it. We will always be Liverpool supporters."

Liverpool look set to invest the money on multiple talents, in the hope that they replace and better themselves from Suarez's departure. They came close to winning the EPL, but after this blow, can they go one better, or will it take years of rebuilding?

Suarez, meantime, will play in Barcelona alongside Neymar (assuming he recovers from his World Cup back injury) and Lionel Messi, to form one of the world's most exciting attacks.
