The world of sports has gone mad. The 2014 World Cup has just finished, the domestic soccer season is approaching and NBA free agency has exploded. Last week LeBron James decided to take his talents back to the Cleveland Cavaliers, where he will team up with Kyrie Irving and Andrew Wiggins. However, this wasn't the only crazy sporting trio to join forces. Fresh off the World Cup, Barcelona have signed Liverpool's Luis Suarez, who will form an attack with Lionel Messi and Neymar. We're going to be lucky enough to witness all 6 superstars, but the question is, which of this trio will be the best, and which will win a championship first?

It's not often the sports of basketball and soccer are drawn in to a direct comparison with one another, but with both LeBron and Luis joining their new teams within days of one another, it just cannot be helped. Suarez is currently finalizing his deal, while Messi and Neymar have just returned from the World Cup, failing to take their team to glory. Wiggins is currently rocking the NBA summer league for the Cavaliers, why Irving is relaxing, but soon enough the NBA 2014/15 season and the La Liga 14/15 seasons will be underway, and both the Cavaliers and Barcelona will be hoping their stars are unstoppable.

The comparisons are easy to see, with LeBron and Messi the biggest stars in their respected sport, and both will look to lead the others. Suarez and Irving are similar, as both have been around a while, but have a lot left to prove, whilst Wiggins and Neymar present us with another direct comparison, with Neymar already a more established star. Each season Barcelona come close to glory, if they fail to win, so the addition of Suarez should be a big one. The Cavaliers had promise for the upcoming season, but James and Wiggins will only add to this.

Although both Barcelona and the Cavaliers are lucky, lucky teams, it's clear to see that Barcelona will have a dominant year or two, and the Cavaliers may follow, but it's likely they will have a long period of success, whilst Barcelona will win now and do so in style.
