'KUWTK' Khloe Kardashian Instagram Message To Ex Lamar Odom After New York Knicks Fire NBA Player Despite Dating French Montana

Khloe Kardashian of Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality TV show fame might be dating rapper French Montana, but that doesn't mean she doesn't feel for her ex-husband Lamar Odom during his hardships. After officially being dropped by Phil Jackson and the New York Knicks this week, Khloe took to Instagram to allegedly send Lamar a message of support and condolence.

"I would surrender my being to see you whole once more," a post on her Instagram read. The quote is from R.G. Moon, an apparent poet that posts these verses from time to time (if you have any information on this person, please let us know). Also, it seems as if it was directed at Lamar due to the emotional context that comes with it.

Khloe posted this only about a day or two after Knicks President Phil Jackson announced Odom's termination.

Unfortunately, Lamar was unable to uphold the standards to return as an NBA player," he said in a statement on July 11. "We found it necessary to free up the roster spot."

Sources close to the team explained in more detail what happened to Lamar.

"There was a lot of hope there when he had his first initial talks with Phil" an insider said, according to Us. "He gave him a real shot. He kind of threw this one away. He wasn't in it. He's not doing great. Admittedly, he's had a couple rough hands dealt with the family and the Khloe situation being pretty frequently thrown in his face. Everyone was hoping that what went down with Khloe would see him rededicate himself to training and getting in shape for the season but he seems to only be half in it."
