The 2014 NCAA season is fast approaching, and that means everyone's busy making their college football predictions. One man who has impressed the world, and equally annoyed them, rivalling recently drafted Johnny Manziel, is Florida State's Jameis Winston. The QB has star potential, but he has had a bad past, with rape and shoplifting accusations. The QB was proven innocent for the rape charge, but the shoplifting was described as an "honest mistake". Will his attitude haunt him, and will it leave from for somebody like Oklahoma's Trevor Knight to swoop in and become the future face of NCAA and NFL football?

Winston is predicted to be a top-five 2015 NFL draft pick, and Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher believes he will succeed. The star was caught walking out of store without paying for crab legs. His coach recently explained that the shoplifting was an innocent mistake, saying "e made a mistake but it wasn't like he was trying to steal something. ... He'll learn from that, but Jameis is a tremendous human being. He is a great people person. There is no ill will or malice in his body. I say the child must die (in him) as far as decision-making, but at the same time, I like the child in him because you see the fun-loving (side) of him and the joy from playing the game, and I don't want that to ever go out of him."

However, with emerging QB like Oklahoma's Knight, could Winston soon lose his highly-rated tag? Knight is known for his heroics in the 2014 Sugar Bowl, where he led Oklahoma to a 45-31 upset of two-time reigning champion Alabama, in which he was named the MVP. He also visited Haiti in 2013, with his Sooners teammates, for the Hope for Haiti trip. It seems he has his on-and-off-the-field priorities in check.

Will Jameis throw his career away before its even started, and can Knight take his place as the top-ranked QB in NCAA football?
