Comedian Joan Rivers has entered into the celebrity fray regarding the Israel-Hamas conflict, and left no question as to where she stands.

Asked by TMZ at LAX airport about the conflict, Joan went on a impassioned rant in support of Israel. She said, "If New Jersey were firing rockets into New York, we'd wipe 'em out. If we heard they were digging tunnels from New Jersey to New York, we would get rid of New Jersey," the comic said. "So I don't want to hear any more 'We'll have a partial truce.'"

When asked about civilian casualties in Gaza, Rivers was equally blunt, saying "Then don't put your goddamn things in private homes! I'm sorry, don't you dare put weapons stashes in private homes and then we say 'get out,' of course we're gonna do it!"

Rivers pulled no punches when asked where the civilians should go. "I don't care, they started it!" she said. "You're all insane, they started it! What are you all saying? They started it. The Israelis did not throw their - for months, this has been going on. What are you supposed to do?

"How do I know? Because I've been over there, that's how I know. And I wish the world would know."

Joan then lashed out media coverage of the event: "BBC should be ashamed of themselves and CNN should be ashamed of themselves, and everybody stop it already!"

Finally, Rivers was asked what she thought about other celebs who've weighed in on Twitter -- specifically Rihanna and Selena Gomez, who both posted support for Palestine.

"Selena Gomez, oh yeah, that college grad," Rivers said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Let's see if she can spell Palestinian."
