ABC's next "Bachelor" is Iowa born Chris Soules. With the latest Bachelor Juan Pablo Galvis- the soccer player not known for his bachelor charm- ABC knew it had pick its next contestant wisely.

Millions know Soules as the chivalrous and sensitive farmer from Arlington, Iowa. However, there must be more to this bachelor than meets the eye. What made him the first choice for ABC's next prince charming?

MStars has the details, but first let's recap why it ended so soon during last season's Bachelorette with Andi Dorfman.

After many episodes of love notes written and planes fling over head reading "Chris loves Andi" it all fell apart on the anticipated fan favorite episode, the hometown date.

As Chris brought Andi to meet his small town family, he respectively explained to her that he had no intentions of leaving his farm in Iowa. "What would I do for work here?" asked Dorfman. "There's an opportunity to be a homemaker," explained Soules. And we all know how this story ends.

ABC has lined up dozens of women eager, unlike Dorfman, to live on the Iowa farm with Soules.

We've seen in interview after interview that Soules seems like a humble man, admitting to Good Morning America, "I was humbled, flattered, grateful. Coming from a small town, I'd never really expected to have this opportunity to be on either show, let alone be the lead on 'The Bachelor,' so it's been awesome."

So far we know that he has a million dollar smile, is humble and sensitive. What else can this man of 'perfection' add to the table? E! News revealed a few fun facts about Mr. Soules that will have fans adoring him even more.

His favorite holiday is Christmas and spending time with his family during this anticipated holiday. His all-time favorite movies are Rudy, Braveheart and Meet the Parents, great choices we say! And one of the most shocking things to know about the new Bachelor is his fear of "accidental diarrhea" during a date.

These fun facts about Soules only confirms how perfect he is to be Americas next 'Bachelor'

Catch Soules on "The Bachelor" returning January 2015.
