Adam Levine Is Obsessed With Calling Behati Prinsloo "Wife"

Adam Levine admits that he's obsessed with calling Behati Prinsloo his wife in a recent interview with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres.

Still in the honeymoon stage of marriage — Levine wed Prinsloo in July — he reveals that he's now obsessed with calling her his wife.

"I never really thought I would adore it. It's so trippy. I'm a child. How did this happen?" he states. "I use that word [wife] a lot. I say it for no reason," he laughs. "I say it a lot - 'wife wife wife,' I love it."

The lead vocalist for Maroon 5 even admitted to changing her number in his phone to "Wife." The ceremony that made his obsession a reality took place at Flora Farms in Los Cabos, Mexico. The couple was accompanied by 300 of their closest friends and family. The affair included celebrity guests such as Jonah Hill and Jason Segel.

Levine is currently still a judge on The Voice where he was recently nominated for People's Teen Choice Award for Favorite Celebrity Judge. While Levine spends his days judging young talents, his adoring wife has landed a gig as the face of Pepe Jeans campaign for Spring/Summer 2014. In June 2014, Prinsloo made a cameo appearance in a preview of Missy Elliott protégée Sharaya J's "Shut it Down" via a T by Alexander Wang campaign.

Levine will be joined on The Voice by fellow artists Blake Shelton, Pharrell Williams and Gwen Stefani.
