It looks like Britney Spears isn't wasting anytime before recording some new tunes about her now ex-boyfriend David Lucado. The couple just recently broke up but it looks like Spears is putting pen to paper and recording some new songs to get over the split. The singer posted a picture of herself looking happy as she stands in front of a microphone in the studio.

She singer Instagrammed the image with the caption, "Studio today! Yay!" Brit looks flawless as she gives the camera a peace sign and her biggest smile, while wearing black pants and a pink crop top.

It seems that Britney does her best work in the studio after breaking up with the men in her life, according to E! News. The sites explains that her latest album, Britney Jean, was about her ex Jason Trawick, while In The Zone and Blackout were about her splits with Justin Timberlake and Kevin Federline, respectively.

However, despite calling it quits with Lucado, Spears hasn't been letting anything get her down, as she has been posting and speaking out about how happy she is to be single. The "Perfume" singer took to Twitter last week to express her happiness about being single, writing, "Ahhhh the single life!"

She also opened up to the audience at her Las Vegas "Piece Of Me" Show explaining to concertgoers the best part of being cheated on by a significant other.

"So I know you know my boyfriend cheated on me. But the best thing about being cheated on is I get to go on more first dates." Spears told the audience.

Here's to hoping that Brit is cooking up a masterpiece in the studio for our enjoyment.
