Being a celebrity can be tough on many levels and that is no exception for pop star Katy Perry. In the new issue of Harper's Bazaar, Perry explained how her fame and career have caused major problems in the love life department.

"A lot of times I've ended up with people who have been intimidated by me, unfortunately," Perry says. "They say they're not, but it comes out in the long run. They're threatened, or there's resentment because they don't know how to handle it."

That could be explainable as she told Bazaar in the October issue that her "working hours" run from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. However with 13 million albums and 72 million digital singles who has time to date or sleep? It seems as though it will take one special person to stay by the singer's side.

"As I'm heading into my 30s I have less time for bulls-t, I look for the same characteristics: a sense of humor - someone who makes me laugh off the charts - someone who is sensitive, someone who loves and understand music, and who is really smart."

That is quite the list! Guys start taking notes!

The future Mr. Perry needs to be ok with the fact that sometimes if she's overdone it vocally she must wear a nametag that says, "I'm quiet." Which as you can imagine cold be hard on anyone.

Having free time is a rarity for the star, "it is overwhelming to know what you're doing in 2015 already," she says, sighing. Bazaar reports that while on tour she does two shows in a row then has one day off. It's hard to believe that she even has time to meditate five to six times a week.

The "This is How we Do" singer has dealt with some difficult breakups the past few years, a divorce from Russell Brand in 2012 and a breakup with John Mayer this year.

"What I've learned is that if you don't have the foundation of self-love first, you really have nowhere to pull love from to give it away. I had to learn about taking care of myself before I could take care of others. I want to mommy everyone. I want to take care of them. I want to save them, and I forget myself in the meantime. I learned that through therapy," she stated. " I have an oracle of therapists"
