Friday Night Lights alum Adrianne Palicki is engaged her boyfriend Jackson Spidell, who is a stuntman in the industry. The 31-year-old actress's rep confirmed the happy news to People and Us Weekly today.

The newly engaged couple met while filming their upcoming movie, John Wick, which hits theaters this October. In the film, Adrianne plays the villain and her fiancé is Keanu Reeves' stuntman.

The About A Boy actress (who plays David Walton's love interest on the NBC comedy) previously opened up to Men's Health about her taste in men and what her perfect man looks like noting that none of her exes have very much in common.

"I don't really worry about whether a guy's a certain type, as long as there's a connection," the Ohio native told Men's Health in 2009. "We're going to grow old, we're going to get fat, but laughter lasts."

The bride-to-be is famous for her role as Tyra Collette in the football classic, Friday Night Lights. She manages to keep her love life hidden most of the time, but she did reveal to People which of her FNL onscreen love interests she would date if she had the chance.

"Probably [Tim] Riggins [played by Taylor Kitsch] when I was younger, but I'm going to say Landry [Clarke played by Jesse Plemons] now that I'm older," Adrianne explained to the publication in 2013 while promoting G.I. Joe: Retaliation.

"I want someone who is stable and awesome, and a good person who treats me well," she added.

In addition to planning her wedding, the actress will be very busy this fall with her television lineup. The G.I. Joe: Retaliation actress will be playing Mockingbird on ABC's Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in addition to reprising her role on About A Boy.
