‘Cougar Town’ Season 6 Spoilers: Which Cast Member Is Leaving The Show?

Drink up, it's time for Cougar Town news. As the TBS comedy gears up for its sixth and final season, one of its season regulars is leaving and won't be starring in the whole sixth season.

TV Line has exclusively learned that Brian Van Holt, who played Bobby "Penny Can" Cobb will be departing from the show at the beginning of its sixth season.

"According to a C-Town insider, Van Holt - who recently wrapped production on the Syfy limited series Ascension - is leaving early to pursue other opportunities," TV Line reported.

The rest of the cast will say goodbye to Brian's character in the season six premiere, so make sure you have your giant glass of wine on hand.

Don't be too upset, Cougar Town fans, the show is still coming back after five seasons (which began in 2009) for a 13 episode farewell season that will air sometime in 2015.

"TBS' sixth- and final-season order will bring Cougar Town past the 100-episode mark, the magic number for becoming a viable candidate for syndication," TV Line reported in May.

So what's in store for the final season? If the season picks up right where season five left off, then a pregnancy!

"After Travis and Jules make up, the gang reveals to them that Laurie is pregnant and it is wonderful," Zap2It reported after the season five finale. "Even Tom gets to be there to help celebrate -- and it turns out he's a millionaire, so Andy has found himself a job-saving client."
