It's wedding season in Los Angeles and that means some serious romance envy and a hook up pack for the New Girl gang. Season four of Fox's comedy New Girl picks up four months after Jessica Day (Zooey Deschanel) and Nick Miller (Jake Johnson) broke up. "The Last Wedding" begins in the groups loft as Schmidt (Max Greenfield) and Jess brace themselves for another wedding.

As the summer wedding season is coming to a close, Schmidt challenges all of his roommates to hook up with someone at the wedding. Even Winston Bishop (Lamorne Morris), who is now in the police academy, agrees to the wedding hook up pact. As Schmidt puts it, "Winter is coming!" which means it will be harder to have a random hookup due to not knowing what's under a woman's sweater.

At the final wedding of the summer, Nick, Jess, Winston, Schmidt and Coach (Damon Wayans Jr.) sit around a table as they scan the room for their goal hookups. When Cece (Hannah Simone) shows up Schmidt quickly gets sidetracked and falls into his "I love Cece" mode. Nick comes to his rescue and tries to snap him out of it by telling him to focus on the hot blonde bridesmaid.

Meanwhile, Jess has her eyes on the Best Man named Ted (Reid Scott), but she isn't the only one who wants him. Jess is in a battle for the only hot guy at the wedding with guest star Jessica Biel (who plays Kat).

Jess tries to go "Biden" on her and just stand there as Kat pulls out all of her moves. In a crazy attempt to talk to Ted, Jess bursts into the men's restroom and is trapped inside while Kat holds the door. Jess says something absurd and then hides in a stall.

Back at the bar, Nick discovers that Cece is actually single and realizes that he has to take one for the team. Nick agrees to have a foursome with Schmidt and two of the bridesmaids in an attempt to distract him from Cece. Schmidt backs out of the deal and becomes really happy when he learns that Cece is available. In an a twist, Schmidt doesn't do anything stupid to try and impress Cece, even though it is clear he still likes her.

Both Winston and Coach don't have any luck when it comes to landing a lady at the event either. Winston can barely move because he is so sore, while Coach learns that he has slept with almost every woman there.

Back in the men's restroom Nick finds Jess hiding in a stall and the two former lovebirds have an adorable heart-to-heart. Nick convinces Jess to be herself and go and get the Best Man. She starts to sing Tina Turner, which is great, before leaving the bathroom.

Jess then goes straight to the dance floor and tells Ted all about herself. She admits she used to date Nick and that her first crush was on a Batman cake. After she says her speech, Ted has to pick, but he can't decide. Kat leaves with the minister and Jess goes home with her friends.

The whole group decides to hangout at the loft and proceeds to pull every wedding invitation off their fridge while making fun of the couples that sent them.

PS: In case you missed it, two more hilarious quotes from "The Last Wedding."

"How Jewish do I look? Like good Jewish or bad Jewish?" - Schmidt

"Do guys still like an LA face with an Oakland bootie? - Jess
