WATCH: Chris Pratt, Kate McKinnon Featured In ‘Saturday Night Live’ Season 40 Promo [VIDEO]

With all of the news about the upcoming season 40 of Saturday Night Live it looks like things are just about ready to kick off! The show just released a promo for Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt's episode (the season premiere!), which airs this coming Saturday, Sept. 27.

The below video spans just under seven minutes, MUCH longer than other promos of the past, but considering all of the buzz surrounding this coming season – not to mention the excitement of Pratt's presence – it's pretty understandable... and welcomed!

Tackling some rather naughty words, the Parks and Recreation star's last name in England (FYI: do NOT go overseas and call someone that) and a whole heap of pickle jars, the above promo unequivocally succeeds in getting us all pretty hyped for Saturday's episode.

One thing though ... who is going to eat all of those pickles?

Season 40 is coming with an immense amount of changes – from a smaller cast, to a newer writing staff and the show's new announcer, Darrell Hammond – and it'll be interesting to see how the series kicks off. And we're still wondering about Kenan Thompson. Will the player leave? We'll have to see!

Pratt's episode of SNL airs this coming Saturday, Sept. 27, at 11:30 p.m. with musical guest Ariana Grande.
