Two of ABC's hit comedies return tonight and this season there will be some new faces. Both The Middle (which premieres tonight at 8 p.m.) and The Goldbergs (which premieres tonight at 8:30 p.m.) have new guest stars this season and they will, of course, have a funny side to them.

Season 6 of The Middle will finally be the season that Sue Heck (played by Eden Sher) will get her braces off. With the big braces-free reveal set for this season, ABC has cast a hilarious orthodontist to do the honors and make Sue the happiest girl in town.

According to TV Line, Spin City alum Richard Kind will fight to keep Sue's braces on as her orthodontist, but Sue doesn't listen and therefore things will not go according to plan, which isn't a surprise when it comes to Sue's life.

"Sue has had her braces for a long time — and she's had enough. Of course, there are going to be consequences, but people who are ready for Sue's mouth to grow up a little will not be disappointed," executive producer Eileen Heisler told TV Line.

The Goldbergs, which returns for its second season after The Middle's Wednesday night premiere, will also have a new guest star. The Hollywood Reporter exclusively reported that iCarly star Noah Munck will be joining the 1980s-inspired comedy.

Noah will "play 'Naked Rob,' an average looking, regular dude with dry affect, who for some unknown reason loves getting naked," THR learned. "Rob is a member of the so-called Jenkintown Posse (also affectionately known by its members as 'JTP') — Barry's (Troy Gentile) ragtag group of friends. He's considered the 'slick' member of the group."

Both comedies are back tonight on ABC and each one promises to be funny.
