David Beckham, Jay Z & Beyoncé Watch PSG Beat Barcelona In UEFA Champions League Clash As Neymar & Lionel Messi Grab Goals

Barcelona lost their first game of the season, against Paris St-Germain, but it's not like anybody saw it, right? Wrong. David Beckham, Jay Z and his wife, Beyoncé, watched the game together, as PSG romped to a surprising UEFA Champions League victory. Goals from Lionel Messi and Neymar weren't enough to save the La Liga giants. Can PSG prove their worth this season, and will Barcelona bounce back?

PSG are now top of Group F, and they they were able to survive goals from Neymar and Messi, arguably two of the best players in the world. Barcelona pressed for another goal late on, but PSG held on, resisting their attacks. PSG now have four points, and Barcelona have three, however, both teams are still the favourites to progress to the next round. PSG are one of the richest teams in the world, while Barca are one of the best, so this was always likely to be an interesting clash, perhaps explaining why so many celebrities visited.

One can wonder why Jay and Beyonce were there. Beckham, after all, played for PSG, but the American duo have no connection. Were they enjoying downtime, seeing David, or have they got some secret plan to get involved in the football business? Of course, Jay could be looking to add to his new agency business too. We may never know why they were there, but we do know that Barcelona will be devastated to lose in front of this crowd.
