Cincinnati Bengal Devon Still, Daughter Leah Honored By Robert Kraft's New England Patriots With Cheerleader Jerseys

Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Devon Still was moved to tears the night of Sunday, Oct. 5, when the New England Patriots cheerleaders sported his jersey in support of his 4-year-old daughter Leah, who's battling Stage 4 neuroblastoma. The Pats cheerleaders took the field in the second half of New England's 43-17 victory at Gillette Stadium in cropped versions of his No. 75 jersey. The wardrobe change was a nod to the fundraising campaign started by the Bengals in September, whereby the team has pledged to donate all the proceeds from the sale of his jersey to pediatric cancer research.

In addition to @PatsCheer's tribute, Robert Kraft will donate $25,000 to Cincinnati Children's Medical Center in Leah's name.

The Patriots also showed Leah's picture on the stadium's big screen during the tribute, and tears could be seen streaming down her dad's face and over his eye black, which read, "LEAH STRONG." Additionally, the team announced that Patriots owner Robert Kraft has pledged a generous donation to the Cincinnati Children's Hospital in honor of Leah. Leah underwent successful surgery late last month, but not before Devon took a moment to inspire some confidence in his daughter with a quick pep talk and a fist bump.

Following the surgery, Still returned to Instagram to give his followers an update and revealed that everything went as well as he and his family could have hoped for.

"After a 5hr 50min surgery the surgeon was able to remove ALL of her tumor and all of her lymph nodes and her right adrenal gland where it all started from," Devon wrote. "Best news I've received in a long time."
