Peyton Manning, Brett Favre: Without A Doubt Denver Broncos' Star "Miles Better" Than Green Bay Packers' Retired QB

The NFL's "Greatest ever quarterback" debate has been done a million times. Debate one-million-and-one is here. Forgetting the elite quarterbacks or the past, present and future, without a doubt Peyton Manning, now of the Denver Broncos, and the retired Brett Favre, most famously of the Green Bay Packers, are two of the best quarterbacks ever. Which one is better you ask? As Peyton moves close to overtaking Brett in the 500-touchdown club, it's never been clearer; there is no better than Peyton, but does he need one more Super Bowl win to to top his brother Eli Manning and Favre?

Manning is now five touchdowns shy of equalling Favre's TD record, and he could do it in his very next game. When speaking of his touchdown footballs, he said: "I donate them, but I put on there, I put a little contract: When Drew Brees or Aaron Rodgers breaks it, give me the ball back, and I'll have something to play with in the backyard with my kids. It's all just a matter of time I think with some of these young quarterbacks."

So it seems Manning is still as humble as ever, but he evidently hurts from last year's Super Bowl loss. Being one Super Bowl win behind his brother Eli, does he need to equal him, or is it clear for all that he's better than his brother, and better than any other rival QB?

It might not be next week, but sooner or later, Manning is coming for Favre's TD record, and after that, it's going to be extremely hard to argue that he is indeed the best QB to ever grace the football field.
