‘The Mindy Project’ 'I Slipped' Recap: Danny’s Sexual Accident In Bed, Morgan's Graduation, Feuds

This week's episode of The Mindy Project centers on sex, feuds and Morgan's graduation. In "I Slipped," Danny and Mindy hit another bump in their relationship, and it has to do with sex.

The episode begins with Danny doing a lot of romantic things for Mindy. He makes her apple pie and buys her a pretty necklace. But suddenly, when they're having sex, Mindy freaks out and Danny says, "I slipped!" Mindy isn't happy with the sexual accident, but she tries to believe it was an "accident" on Danny's part.

At the office, Tamra and Peter are hanging out in the kitchen when Jeremy walks in. The whole office is mad at Jeremy for stealing Lauren away from Peter, and they have created the group called #TeamPeter. When they are in the kitchen, Morgan reveals that they missed his graduation and he's really upset.

Mindy then goes and talks to Peter about her debacle from the night before. She asks him about "accidentally slipping," and he says there's no such thing. Danny meant to do what he did — which we never really figure out what, but we have a good idea. Mindy then storms out and confronts Danny, but he says he's going blind so he didn't know what he was doing.

After going to the eye doctor, Danny's cleared and Mindy's pissed. He finally admits he wanted to do it because he thought she had done it before, since she has been with so many guys. She's insulted and leaves by walking backward to remove all temptation for Danny.

Because Mindy loves Danny, she turns to Peter for help. He agrees to teach her the art of being dirty in bed. He uses a skeleton to show Mindy all the different sex positions she could try. It's disturbing and hilarious at the same time.

Mindy then goes to Morgan and apologizes for missing his graduation and the ceremony that officially made him a nurse practitioner. She gives him a picture of herself and her father as a gift and Morgan loves it. They make up and then Morgan gives Mindy a prescription for drugs to help her get through the disgusting sex act she is going to perform to keep her man.

Later that night, Morgan tricks Peter and Jeremy into going to dinner with him and sitting together. He tries to pull a Parent Trap where Morgan is the Lindsay Lohan in the situation. Morgan quickly steps aside to text a drugged-out Mindy when Peter throws water on Jeremy and Jeremy throws fire on Peter.

In a switch to Mindy, she tries to impress Danny by drinking scotch and listening to the blues as she prepares to please him. He tells her that they're "comfortable" together and that it's OK they don't do kinky stuff in bed. That, of course, hurts Mindy and she starts popping the pills Morgan gave her.

After making vacation plans in her drugged state with Morgan, she starts to trip out and falls off the bed. Danny takes her to the hospital, where he's accused of drugging her. Mindy explains the whole thing and admits to drugging herself.

Danny clears everything up on his end, saying it was just something he wanted to try because he had never done it before. He really likes Mindy for who she is and he's sorry for the awkwardness of the week. She admits she has never done it either and the two make up.

In the hospital, Jeremy and Peter agree to be civil and professional at work, even though Jeremy burned Peter's eyebrows off. Outside work, however, is fair game for fighting and hating each other. The two team up together to buy a gift for Morgan because they missed his graduation, which is sweet.

The episode ends with Danny and Mindy trying out a new fantasy in the bedroom with whipped cream. Unfortunately, Mindy bites Danny's tongue and hand because she just loves how good whipped cream tastes.
