Looks like Kenya Moore kept her deal of the bargain. MStars News has learned that the Real Housewives of Atlanta star give $20,000 to the Detroit Public Schools Foundation.

Kenya captioned the photo seen above, "I'm proud to be able to give back and keep my promise to the Detroit public schools foundation to donate $20,000. Detroit is a resilient city and so am I."

She adds, "I will continue to shine despite the people who want to see me fail or try to turn my positivity in to negativity. See you soon Detroit! #igotyomoney #kenyalovesthekids #twirlsawayhaters," as she stats why she donated her money to the Detroit Public Schools Foundation.

According to TMZ, Moore finally made good on her challenge after her fellow RHOA cast mate NeNe Leakes challenged her to put her money where her mouth is and prove that she is rich.

During last season's reunion show, NeNe claimed that Kenya was fake and didn't have that kind of money, now the tables have turned, as Kenya calls NeNe out to prove she matched Leakes $20K.

So far there has been no response from Leakes, but that would be something if the diva came back and gave the foundation her own $20, 0000 check to keep her word; after all the deal is that NeNe has to give her own $20K for the same charity.

According to Reality Tea, Moore had postponed her presentation to the foundation that was set for Friday, October 17th at her alma mater, Cass Technical High School, to honor her donation, but the star is still sending the check.

Moore's reasoning was that the ceremony conflicts with family obligations. The donation was scheduled to be filmed for the RHOA, as VP of Public Relations for the reality star, Shannon Barr says that her client's cancellation "has nothing to do with the donation at all."

Though Moore is giving back to her former community, she has made many upset and disappointed that she hasn't rescheduled an appearance date.

"I'm disappointed for a variety of reasons," Glenda Price, president of the Detroit Public Schools Foundation, expressed to the Detroit Free Press. "The students at Cass Tech were preparing to perform. There has been so much anticipation about her visiting the school."

Hopefully Kenya will not only write the check, but visit her high school as well.
