'RHONJ' Teresa Guidice, Joe Giudice Marriage Officially Over: Bravo Star Hires Divorce Lawyer While Husband Is In Court Again!

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is done with her marriage to Joe Giudice. She's seeing a divorce lawyer to get the process going while Joe's in court again.

As MStars News reported, there has been trouble brewing for the couple ever since they were sentenced to prison for mortgage and bankruptcy fraud. Joe has, reportedly, barely been home with his family, but when he is home, all he does is drink bottles of wine.

According to Radar Online, the disorder in their marriage has led Teresa to hire a divorce attorney whose first job will be to file an appeal of the reality star's 15-month prison sentence.

"Teresa really likes her and will likely hire her to handle the appeal of her looming prison sentence," a source told Radar. "The lawyer would also bring another attorney on board that specializes in white-collar crime."

"While it's odd that Teresa would be meeting with a divorce attorney to handle the appeal, it's not that unconventional for the mother of four. She is going with her gut instincts on this one," the source continued. "It shouldn't be lost on anyone either that Joe isn't going to be pursuing any appeal, and Teresa will likely hire the divorce attorney to handle her inevitable split from him."

This comes on the heels of the Bravo star not accompanying her husband to court this morning in Paterson, New Jersey. Joe is in negotiations about whether to accept a plea deal in his state fraud case, where he tried obtaining a driver's license illegally with his brother's identification. Joe's license had been suspended at the time for a DWI.

If Joe accepts the deal, he would serve 18 months concurrently with his current 41-month sentence. But if he goes to trial, he would be facing up to 10 more years in prison.
