Real Housewives of New Jersey star Joe Giudice decided to take the plea deal in his identity fraud case, which, if convicted, could've landed the reality star in jail for up to 10 years. But wife Teresa Giudice wasn't present, and divorce rumors are surrounding the couple.

Earlier today, we reported that Joe was going to reject the deal and take his chances at trial.

"Mr. Giudice totally understands the plea offer and maintains his innocence and says he did not do what he's charged with," the Bravo star's lawyer Miles Feinstein said. "He wants to go to trial in this particular case."

But after Judge Adam Jacobs reiterated to the RHONJ star that he may regret turning down a great deal, Joe seemed uneasy and wanted some time to think it over.

After court reconvened, Joe accepted the plea deal in the fraud and forgery case. He was accused of illegally obtaining a driver's license using his brother Pietro's marriage license and birth certificate, since his own license was suspended due to a DWI in 2010.

Under the plea deal, the reality star dad would get an 18-month sentence that will run concurrently with his 41-month federal prison sentence.

Conspicuously absent from the proceedings was Joe's wife Teresa. As MStars News reported, the couple is on the verge of divorce due to various issues, including Joe's drinking problem. He admitted to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live that he drinks at least two bottles of wine every night and it's like drinking milk to him.

Outside court, Joe also was getting angry at the journalists and cameramen.

"If you don't get out of my face, I'll kick every one of youse in the head," he yelled.

He even almost knocked over an Extra TV cameraman, which you can see here: Joe Hitting Cameraman.
