A Case of You actress Evan Rachel Wood recalled her Vanity Fair 2003 dehumanizing cover that made her feel like "meat" recently on Twitter. In 2003, the Vanity Fair cover read, "It's Totally Raining Teens! And It's, Like, So a Major Moment in Pop Culture" and featured up-and-coming starlets that included Mandy Moore, Mary Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen. Wood admitted that the cover was one of the worst shoots she has ever done.

The cover, which also included Hilary Duff, Alexis Bledel, Amanda Bynes, Raven Symone and Lindsay Lohan, was memorable to many teens alive at the time, but Evan remembers it for a different reason. After one of her fans tweeted the cover saying, "NEVER FORGET." Evan responded with a series of tweets on Wednesday night revealing it was not as glamorous as it appeared.

"I was almost in tears after this shoot. They tried that dress on me, I wasn't comfortable but they told me there was no time cause everyone else took up too much time with their fittings," she wrote on Twitter in response to the fan.

"Then I was given a choice on whether I wanted to wear flats or heels, I chose flats and was immediately handed heels and told they looked better. Then we were all lined up, stared at and approved."

The True Blood actress continued saying, "I was 15 and felt for the first time my identity being erased and the pressure to shut up and do what you are told. I felt like meat. Since then, I have found my voice. Never again. #neverforget."

The 27-year-old star explained that she even "begged for pants" instead of the tight mini dress she was given. Despite her terrible experience when she was younger, the actress revealed she has had a better experience since then with the publication.

"Side note, I have shot the cover of "vanity fair" since and had a much different experience. It was quite lovely," she wrote. When another fan asked why she thinks she was treated better when she was older she explained that she found her voice once she grew up.

"I think when you are young and inexperienced and shy you can be bullied more. I learned to say no," Evan revealed on Oct. 16.
