Tyson Fury, David Price, Dereck Chisora, Wladimir Klitschko, David Haye & Anthony Joshua: Heavyweight Hopefuls Eyeing Huge 2015 Of Boxing Bouts

Matchroom boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has big plans for Anthony Joshua and the heavyweight division. With 2015 approaching, it seems as if we're set for a stunning year of HUGE bouts. Wladimir Klitschko has been fending off his rivals for years, but he may soon have some competition at long last, and it looks like it will come from Britain. Tyson Fury, David Price, Dereck Chisora, David Haye and Joshua, are all heavyweight hopefuls that may just get some of boxing's biggest bouts in 2015, and that may include possible fights with Wlad himself.

Chisora and Fury will go toe-to-toe to finish the 2014 boxing calender, and the winner of that fight could find themselves in the ring with Wlad or one of the other British contenders, with a view to fight the world champion. Despite Joshua being a novice in the sport, promoter Hearn believes he might be able to set up massive bouts between the British fighters, with a shot against Klitschko being the prize.

He explained: "Fights with Dereck Chisora, Tyson Fury and David Price he wins all of them, but they are risky fights that he doesn't need just yet. All of those fights we want next summer and after November 22 the plan is to go for anyone in Britain. I would like to see him in with the Chisora-Fury winner and he will be 10-0 by then. If he's dealing with Bakhtov and Sprott inside two or three rounds, he's definitely ready for Chisora, Fury or Price next year. They are all big fights but Anthony Joshua is going to be the money in the heavyweight division. David Haye next summer might be a big fight as well if he's still fighting. I would be confident in those fights but you don't do it because you have to. Even if it means people are saying he's going too slow, we will do it that way but you can't really knock his progress so far. I believe Anthony will be world champion and all of those people will be in the way of him getting there."
