Jimmy Fallon is known for his hilarious skits on Saturday Night Live and great job as the host of The Tonight Show. Now he's adding author to his résumé, and not just any author, but children's author. The 40-year-old has penned his first children's book inspired by his daughter Winnie.

The SNL alumnus has previously published Thank You Notes and Thank You Notes 2, inspired by the "Thank You Notes" he reads on The Tonight Show, which are funny. Now he's taking a crack at the children's' demographic. His first children's novel is based on the age-old story of a baby's first word.

Although his daughter Winnie Rose actually said "Mama" as her first word, which made his wife Nancy Juvonen Fallon happy, Jimmy believes a child's first word should always be "Dada." His funny and cute book tells other parents out there how to ensure that their child's first word is "Dada."

"This is one of the few celebrity books that you can tell was actually written by a celebrity," Jimmy told People.

The picture book titled, You're Baby's First Word Will Be Dada, is a playful way to tell parents how to train their child to say "Dada," which is quirky and fitting for the comedian to write.

The book will be available June 9. "[It] serves as a hilarious how-to on coaching your kiddie to show Dad some love, with cows, sheep, horses and mice," People reported.

Jimmy's daughter Winnie might only be 15 months old, but she already approves of her dad's new book.

"My baby personally approved of the beautiful artwork by Miguel Ordóñez," the comedian revealed to the publication.

The Tonight Show host isn't the only actor turned author who has looked to their daughters for inspiration. In 2011, Saved By the Bell alumnus Mario Lopez wrote a book called Mario and Baby Gia, about his daughter Gia Francesca.
