Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is off to prison Jan. 5, but not before Bravo offers her a holiday special before she's locked up.

According to Radar Online, producers are offering the RHONJ star $250,000 to film her spending her last Christmas with her four girls before going behind bars. This would be music to Teresa's ears, since the reality star has been strapped for cash for a while.

"Teresa had been very concerned about how she was going to pay for the extravagant gifts for their four daughters at Christmas," a source told the site. "She didn't want to cut back in buying any gifts for the girls, and with Bravo offering such a huge payday for a special makes her inclined to accept the offer."

Teresa also wants to be on TV before her long absence from the show that made her famous.

"This could be a way for her to say goodbye to her fans ahead of beginning the 15-month prison sentence," the source continued.

Bravo producers want to start quickly and strike while the iron's hot. They want to get as much interest as possible before the story dies down.

"Teresa has been so erratic with her decisions recently that Bravo wants to get it locked down and done," according to Radar. "It would feature Teresa shopping for gifts, possibly doing some charity work and family stories with the girls. Bravo would milk it for ratings and make it at least a two-night special."

However Gossip Cop refuted Radar's holidsay special article today. A Bravo spokesperson told the site "there is no truth to this report."

As MStars News reported previously, Teresa and her husband Joe Giudice have been arguing over how much to spend on holiday gifts for their four daughters: Gia, 13, Gabriella, 9, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 5.

"[Teresa] had hoped to give the girls an over-the-top Christmas because she is going to be reporting to prison on Jan. 5," a source told Radar. "Typically, Teresa would spend up to $10,000 on gifts for just the girls. From designer handbags, jewelry, one-of-a-kind dolls — there isn't anything that the girls asked for and didn't get."
