It seems comedian Bill Burr is having a hell of a year! The stand up was announced as the lead in an FX series being created by writers of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and now Deadline reports that the Breaking Bad actor is to lend his voice to the new animated series F is for Family, ordered by Netflix. The six-episode comedy will be produced by actor Vince Vaughn and his Wild West Television production company alongside Gaumont International Television. Other names involved in the series include Laura Dern and Justin Long.

F is for Family was created by both Burr and The Simpsons' writer Michael Price. As Deadline notes, the series "follows the Murphy family in the 1970s, a time when you could smack your kid, smoke inside and bring a gun to the airport." Burr, unsurprisingly, will voice the role of the ever so extreme father, Frank Murphy, the patriarch of the family. The rest of the animated cast includes Frank's wife, Sue (Dern) and the oldest son, Kevin (Long).

Together with Vaughn, Burr and Price, Peter Billingsley, Michael Lagnese and Victoria Vaughn will executive produce the series.

Netflix's VP of Original Content, Cindy Holland, said of Burr, "Bill Burr's stand-up specials are wildly popular for us worldwide, and we're looking forward to presenting his nostalgic and unflinching take on the family comedy in this original, animated series."

The comedian notes, "F is for Family is the show I've always wanted to do. It captures all the characters of my childhood the way I remember it to be. Fortunately Mike Price and everyone and Wild West seem to know the same people I knew growing up. It's going ot be a lot of fun to tell these stories."
