'Harry Potter's' Daniel Radcliffe Loves His High-Paying Job "I've Been Very Fortunate"

Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) tells Britain's Radio 1 Breakfast Show that he finds his estimated $110 million in Heat magazine "a little weird."

The 25-year-old English actor explained, "I've been very fortunate," Radcliff shared after being named the wealthiest individual on Heat magazine's celebrity rich list. "I got paid incredibly well for doing a job that I adore. Because of that it's never been a motivating force in my life. The brilliant thing about it is obviously it removes a layer of stress from your life, which is fantastic."

Radcliff, 22, was cast in the first Harry Potter film when he was 11 years old. He went on to star in the series for 10 years until the release of the eighth installment and final film in 2011.

As he appeared on the radio show, he flipped through the British magazine (Heat) and said, "What a lovely, heart-warming piece of a paper to read. Isn't that what everyone likes reading? Oh, look at all these other rich people we can look at."

Other entertainers to top the Heats Rich List include boy band One Direction, at $30 million, Emma Watson, $60 million and Rupert Grint with $50 million.

"I don't have to do anything. My friends, if they get a job on something they don't want to do, they end up doing it and it doesn't matter how they feel about it," the actor said.

Having found fame and fortune at such a young age, the Horns actor continued his education through on-set tutors. He has admitted that he was not very good at school, finding the work "really difficult."
