British boy band One Direction is at it again as they released their much anticipated "Steal My Girl" music video early Friday morning (Oct. 24). However the release is not without concern... mainly from the animal rights organization PETA.

Band member Niall Horan tweeted after the video surfaced, "the Steal My Girl video is out! Had so much fun shooting with @dannydevito!"

Actor Danny Devito plays the bands music video "director" as a spoof. His "character" is first seen being late to the filming as a parody used to spin a more theatrical turn on the bands music video.

The video is filmed in the desert where Davito gives the band members powers of natur. The video goes on to showcase random circus like characters such as sumo wrestlers, a monkey, a lion and other animals. Yeah, it's kind of weird.

Although the video has been out for a matter of hours, it's already gaining traction from PETA who are concerned about the animals used in the video. "Concerned about reports that a chimpanzee, a lion and other wild and exotic animals were used in a new One Direction video," the animal rights organization stated. They added, "You may not know that animals used for entertainment productions, including music videos, endure horrific cruelty and suffer from extreme confinement and violent training methods."

The music video was directed by Benjamin Turner and Gabe Turner. Turner also helped produced One Direction: A Year in the Making.

PETA goes on to exhibit their concern for the animals:

"The exhibitor hired for the 'Steal My Girl' video, Steve Martin, has a history of violating the very minimal standards of the federal Animal Welfare Act (AWA), including by locking apes in small and barren cages for up to 18 hours a day, failing to provide animals with adequate shelter from the elements, and denying animals adequate space, clean cages, and proper feeding."
