Dumb and Dumber To star Jim Carrey has been making the rounds as of late in order to promote the new film alongside The Newsroom's Jeff Daniels –– including last week's episode of Saturday Night Live. Just last night, the former Ace Ventura stopped by the Late Show with David Letterman and before getting into the interview, he took some time to test Letterman for Ebola following the recent outbreak in New York City. He also took on ISIS and New Jersey's Governor Chris Christie.

"You know what, Dave? Before we begin, can I just take a little bit of a precaution," Carrey said as he pulled a thermometer from his pocket. "This goes in your ear or your mouth or anywhere you feel like." For the record, Letterman chose the mouth.

As one could imagine, a temperature reading just wasn't enough. Therefore, the actor just had to put Letterman through a series of questions to assure that he's healthy enough to give an interview. At least, we think that's what it was for.

You know, the basic questions like:

Have you traveled abroad lately? (Letterman said no...)
Have you kissed a monkey or licked an airport toilet seat? (Letterman said maybe...)
Are you now or do you plan to be a member of ISIS? (Letterman didn't answer...)

Following a reading of 55 degrees (just like Letterman's studio!), Carrey deemed the host worthy, but not before digging at Governor Chris "Crispy" ... oh, he meant Christie.
