'RHOA' Star NeNe Leakes Left Behind As Castmates Enjoy Philippines Vacation....Find Out Why Leakes Stayed Behind

When it comes to the Real Housewives of Atlanta epic vacations NeNe Leakes seems to be ready to go, but this time the girls took a trip to the Philippines, and was she was "MIA."

According to the girls vacation photos via Instagram Leakes did not appear to pose for the camera, as Bossip revealed that the Broadway diva was not on vacation.

It appears that the ladies traveled to the exotic country for Phaedra Parks' birthday. The mother of two boys, recently said goodbye to her husband, Apollo Nida as he was sent back to prison for fraud charges. Rumors are swirling around that Parks plans to divorce Nida.

Claudia Jordan,Phaedra Parks, Kenya Mooore, Porsha Williams, Kandi Burruss and Demetria McKinney enjoyed their fun in the sun, clue blue waters, and white sands, as NeNe stayed in the U.S.

But why? According to TMZ, NeNe Leakes had to make a choice, her life or the show.

Sources revealed that the clothing designer canceled her flight to the Philippines for a RHOA taping because of the issues she has had with blood clots that form around her lungs.

Leakes previously had the same condition and ended up in the hospital last year.

Flying long distances could be fatal for someone that constantly develops blood clots. Leakes flight would've been 20-hours, leaving her in a dangerous situation.

Though Leakes couldn't make the trip, she is still a part of the TV show, though she will not be featured on that specific episode.
