ABC Adding Exciting New Twists To Season 19 of 'The Bachelor' With Chris Soules

Fans of The Bachelor are getting antsy waiting for new bachelor Chris Soules to embark on his dating journey. ABC has thrown viewers some exciting new twists to the show. The Bachelor Season 19 will premiere on January 5 during a live three hour broadcast!

This is the first time in Bachelor franchise history that the premier will be broadcasted live. Usually the only portion of the show to air live is the After the Final Rose special, which airs after every season. (reports via E! News)

ABC is embarking on many new adventures for the show this year. As MStars News reported, Iowa born Soules will ride on the first ever 'Bachelor' float in the 126th Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade four days before the premier of the 19th season.

Soules follows previous bachelor Juan Pablo Galvis – the soccer player not known for great "bachelor charm" – therefore ABC knows it must out perform the past season.

Millions fell in love with Soules during the latest season's Bachelorette with Andi Dorfman. However, after numerous love notes and flirtatious cues, Soules was sent home after the hometown date.

Dorfman stating that she didn't know what she would do for work in his farming town of Iowa.

As MStars has also noted, some of The Bachelor contestant names and bios have been released. They include a 29-year-old fourth grade teacher, a FOX News assignment desk employee, and yes, even a Registered Nurse.

The humbled Soules has stated that, "I mean, coming from a small town I never really expected to have this opportunity to be on either show let alone to be the lead on The Bachelor, so it's been awesome."
