Starbucks coffee is making your dreams come true. The coffee company will officially be adding delivery to its list of amazing qualities. Imagine yourself next year getting your seasonal Pumpkin Spice Latte delivered to your door. What about a venti coffee delivered before you even leave your house for work in the morning?

"Imagine the ability to create a standing order of Starbucks delivered hot to your desk daily. That's our version of e-commerce on steroids," Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz said in a statement via E! Online.

Getting your coffee delivered is going to be a godsend ... if it works. "Delivery is an in-demand market in New York — it's something that we're looking at," a Starbucks rep told the New York Post about the delivery program that is expected to start in the second half of 2015.

The delivery program will be made possible through Starbucks' new app, which is a part of their loyalty program. The app will also allow people to order their drink and pay before picking up their coffee order in store.

"Now what you're going to see in the years ahead will be a rapid acceleration in mobile device purchases and a continued significant migration away from bricks-and-mortar commerce," Howard explained in the Starbucks' statement. "There is obviously a huge prize there and that's why we're seeing so much activity around the payment space from all kinds of companies."

Before delivery comes to select areas of the United States, the mobile app will make its appearance, but it is still in its early phases. "We will do this and we will get it right," Chief Digital Officer Adam Brotman told Re/code in July.

"We're trying to get things down to a science. We want to get mobile ordering right first, but you could be hearing more about us in the mobile wallet or universal loyalty space sooner than later," he explained about the app.

Which development are you most excited about? The mobile app or the delivery service?
