Their NBA season might only be 3 games in, with 79 remaining, but could David Blatt's Cavs be destined for failure in the NBA, or are LeBron James' men just slow starters? The Cleveland Cavaliers gutted their roster, adding many new players, but their impressive array of talent has been anything but impressive so far, raising early questions on what they are capable of achieving in 2015?

The Cavaliers dropped their first game, but they bounced back in their second. However, they've followed that with the devastating defeat against the Portland Trail Blazers. The Blazers are a strong team, and one many believe could prove to be title contenders, but the Cavaliers will be embarrassed of their 101-82 loss.

The Cavaliers are working defensively, but they expect their team to be pushing around 100 points per game, so falling 18 points behind that total would not of pleased anybody within the franchise. The Cavaliers knew they would concede a lot of points, but their go-to excuse has been "we will score more than enough", and although only two games, they've not shown that kind of ability as of yet.

The Cavaliers have shown glimpses of talent, suggesting that time and patience might just be all their newly formed team require. Kevin Love was tipped to have a slow start, but he's been the shining light of their dark and disheartening start so far.

With the talent evidently in place, is it just a matter of time until everything falls in to play and the Cavaliers become the force so many predicted they'd be?
