Following the tremendous amount of press and controversy her new book Not That Kind Of Girl has seen since its release at the beginning of October, Girls creator and star Lena Dunham has some good news; HBO have finally announced the premiere of Girls fourth season.

Beginning Sunday Jan. 11, 2015, Girls will run in the 9pm Sunday slot, alongside Looking and the new program from Jay and Mark Duplass, Togetherness. Girls was paired with Looking last year, as well as the first season of True Detective (which is slated to run later in 2015).

Filming for the series wrapped in summer, and we now know thanks to HBO's teasers - that the new season of Girls will see Dunham's Hannah Horvath struggling with her decision to move to Iowa - and also to ride a bike - and her relationship with Adam (newly minted Star Wars star Adam Driver).

Meanwhile Marnie, Shoshanna and Jessa will be making "smarter choices but realizing that life is still hard", says Dunham. Marnie (Allison Williams) finds herself in the unenviable position of the 'other woman' while tackling her musical career, Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) meets her parents, Jessa (Jemima Kirke) just can't stop doing Jessa things, and you can find out what's in store for everybody in the teaser trailer above.

Season 4 will also apparently boast a slew of starry names popping up in guest roles, including Maude Apatow, Jason Ritter, Gillian Jacobs, Natasha Lyonne, Ana Gasteyer, Jake Lacy, Aidy Bryant and Zachary Quinto.

As for Dunham, her publisher Random House have announced that the European dates for her book tour this week will be shifted to next month, due to illness. In the meantime, here's to Hannah eating grapes, Jessa riding a horse, and Dunham keeping up her entertaining instagram
