After nearly five years, the remake of the classic Hawaii Five-O's 100th episode is finally approaching! The landmark episode will include a three-minute mantra by Grammy Award-nominated artist John Ondrasik of Five For Fighting and the song, "All For One," will wrap it all up.

"He [showrunner Peter Lenkov] wanted a song that his characters have built over the last five years, and their family bond," Ondrasik exclusively told Mstars. "All for One" is about a relationship of a family -- they have the ups and downs, the arguments. But the bottom line is that they all love each other and care for each other. It's a great way to wrap up a 100th episode."

In 2010, Hawaii Five-O premiered with a familiar theme song, composed by Morton Stevens along with the small Hawaiian police force, consisting of Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) and partner Danny "Danno" Williams (Scott Caan). After some speculation about the reboot, the characters are now celebrating their 100th episode with a closing song from the "Superman" singer.

"When you have the right song with the right footage it can be very powerful," Ondrasik told Mstars.

The remake of the classic police drama has been a leading staple of theme music for the television series, featuring a song from Rihanna ("S&M"), Pearl Jam's "The End" and British boy band One Direction's "What Makes You Beautiful."

Ondraski is no stranger to selling hit songs, as Five For Fighting has sold millions of albums and singles over the years. However, as Ondrasik tells us, making a theme song for such an iconic show like Hawaii Five-O involves a much different creative process than creating a song for ones own album.

"Every time I do this, it's enjoyable. It's not a blank slate," the 100 Years creator told us." With these projects sometimes they love what you do and sometimes they don't, and you just have to understand that going into a project, that this is their platform, their creation and you're there to help them with their artistic vision."

"All For One" will be a direct reflection of the Ohana bond that McGarret and his crew have developed over the last five years, a song that pulls together the emotions and drama that have ensued within the characters lives and Onradrik is "honored to be a small part of their special episode."

The 100th episode -- featuring guest star Bush singer Gavin Rossdale as a new villain -- will bulk up the milestone segment with McGarret getting kidnapped by Wo Fat (Mark Ducascos) and a "what if" segment (as in how would his life have been if his father, John McGarret (William Sadler), had never died).

Although the Hawaiian police force needs no introduction to drama, villains or expressive satire, a song like "All For One" will help pull together what viewers will be feeling, as they are coming off such an powerful chapter.

"I could tell that they wanted the sentiment of the song to be this kind of recap of the bond the characters have formed," Ondrasik said. "We agreed that it needs to be an up-tempo song. You're coming off a very intense episode and you want it to have energy and you want this song to build."

So how does a songwriter keep the attention of viewers? With lyrics of course! (And by hiring one of the best mixers in the business.)

"The rest of the lyrics tried to capture the vibe of the series, the Hawaii Five-O, the action, the drama the blood, sweat and tears," the piano-based singer told us. "I even hired my buddy Mark Ender who is one of the best mixers in the world to mix it."

In conclusion, any good songwriter and performer creating a song for such a show as Hawaii Five-O must get some sort of creative inspiration from the characters.

"I'm certainly not McGarret," Ondrasik tells us. "I don't have the body. I think that I can related to 'Danno' the sarcastic guy who's always trying to find the joke in something, and maybe find himself in strange places that he never thought he would end up." Ondrasik accredits these similarities between himself and Danno to his career, telling us that, "I look around and I'm like, 'how did I get here?' And most of the time it's a pinch me moment."

You can catch the song premiere and the 100th Episode tonight, Friday, November 7- 9:00-10:00, ET/PT on CBC.

"All For One" is also available on iTunes for download.
