MSTARS [EXCLUSIVE]: 'Project Runway Threads' Host Vanessa Simmons & Judge Jaime King Says Judging Teenagers With Scissors Has Never Been So Thrilling, Mothers Reveal Their Own Clothing Line [VIDEO]

Project Runway: Threads will introduce you to some of the nation's most skilled, budding fashion designers!

Host Vanessa Simmons and special guest judge Jaime King chatted one on one exclusively with MStars News reporter Star Connor to dish exclusive details about the show, motherhood and their future clothing line projects.

Vanessa is the eldest child of hip-hop icon Reverend Run from Run-D.M.C., and has made a career for herself as an actress and fashionista. She starred in the hit reality series Run's House and Daddy's Girls alongside her family. Vanessa went on to design a successful footwear company with her sister called Pastry Shoes. She has also recently taken on the role of mother to 8-month-old daughter Ava Marie.

Jaime has graced the covers of top fashion magazines as a model and starred in a variety of roles on TV and in film as a rising actress. She recently starred in the hit television show Hart of Dixie, and can be seen in the much-anticipated sequel Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. She is also a spokeswoman for Revlon cosmetics, and has revealed that she's working on a children's clothing line and an "eco baby line."

During the interview, Vanessa told star what it was like working with 9- to 16-year-old fashion designers:

"The designs that are coming out of these kids, are so incrediable, and so far beyond their years that it's so inspiring to watch."

In the competition, Vanessa adds that the designers have to "come up with two designs to present in front of our very prestiguous panel of judges."

Vanessa says the "pressure is really, really high, but I think America is going to fall in love with the talent on this show, because they are just so passionate."

When it comes to motherhood these days, both ladies have revealed they'd love to do a clothing line.

"I was just talking about that," Jaime admitted.

Jaime says her line is "all organic, all vegatable dye."

When planning the line, King said, "I wanted to create pieces that were inspirational not only for children, but for parents, and reminds them to be happy."

Each week, three new contestants pull out their scissors, sketchbooks and skills to see who can out-design the competition and set the new standard for the future of fashion. Judges include designer and CFDA member Christian SirianoSeventeen fashion director Gina KellySeventeen accessories editor Jasmine Snow and YouTube style guru Ingrid Nilsen (2.5 million YouTube subscribers).

Challenges will be fast-paced, unpredictable and far from child's play as these nascent fashion powerhouses compete for $10,000 to be used at any Jo-Ann's Fabrics and Crafts store or joann.com, a scholarship to FIDM and a top-of-the-line sewing and embroidery studio courtesy of Brother International Corp."
