Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan & LeBron James: LA Lakers Star The Worst Of All-Time After Setting NBA Record For Missed Shots

Kobe Bryant and LeBron James want nothing better than to top Michael Jordan. The crazy-shooters want to top M.J. in every record when it's all said and done, and in some they already have, and some they are yet to obtain. However, Kobe, of the LA Lakers, has set an NBA shooting record, but it's one that he would never of imagined he'd end up getting. Kobe has now missed more shots in the regular season than any other player in history. This has caused a huge debate, who is the best player of all-time, and could Kobe now be seen as the worst-of-the-best of all-time?

Kobe has now missed 13,147 shots. Kobe, 36, has shot 45.3 percent from the field in his entire career, but is that good enough for him to be considered an elite star? LBJ and Jordan have proven to be far more efficient with less missed shots, so could Kobe ever be considered the "better" player? Probably not.

The abuse he has received has not gone unnoticed, with coach Byron Scott saying, "I don't care about that crap and I'm sure he doesn't either. I don't mean to cut you off, but to me it speaks of his aggressiveness and his longevity. It's almost damned if you do, damned if you don't. The games that he don't take shots, people ask why didn't he take more shots. He can't win neither way, which is unbelievable to me for a guy who gives it everything he's got every single time he's on the floor."

He concluded "It's unfortunate because he is one of the greatest competitors that we've seen in a long time. I take all that stuff with a grain of salt and I'm sure he does too because the bottom line to him is championships."
