Andy Murray had the home advantage against Roger Federer in his ATP World Tour quarter-final match, but that proved to be of little help. Federer destroyed and humiliated Murray, handing him one of the very worst defeats of his entire career. Murray has often struggled against the big-hitters in tennis, and this game proved to be no different with Federer winning 6-0, 6-1 in just under one hour. Murray will be disappointed, but can he bounce back in the 2015 tennis season?

Murray had some horrid early spells in his career, but appeared to mature, winning major tournaments, however, this season he appeared to regress, much to the dislike of his home crowd. Murray made no excuses, saying, "He played exceptionally well. I mean, I can say I'm disappointed with my level tonight. But if I played well, he probably still would have won anyway. A lot can change in a matter of weeks and months in tennis."

He continued, "Roger is a good example of that. Obviously last year he was having some struggles and some tough times with his body and whatnot. A lot of questions were asked about him. He's responded and gone into the last tournament of the year with an opportunity to get to No. 1."

However, Murray believes he will practice sooner than he ever has before this season, all in an effort to get better for the new season in January. Can Murray bounce back and make 2015 a year to remember, or will it only add to his quick fall from grace?
