The New York Marathon is always a special, important and glamorous occasion, and perhaps that's why many celebrities turn out for the event each and every year. This year Caroline Wozniacki, Teri Hatcher and Amber Sabathia all turned out for the event, and one can wonder if this will inspire other gorgeous celebrity women, like Katherine Webb, to appear next season. With her husband A.J. McCarron busy fighting it out with Andy Dalton, perhaps she will make time for a new, exciting venture in her life, and maybe the NYC marathon will be just that.

Tennis star Caroline finished the 26-mile race, and then tweeted, "OMG did I really just finish the @nycmarathon in 3 hours, 26 min and 33 sec??? Sooo happy and proud of myself!" It seems all of her tennis fitness work really proved to be beneficial for the race.

Perhaps Webb and other superstar beauties will join the race in 2015. Maybe even A.J. will himself. His NFL career has had a far from perfect start, as he's been littered with injuries and bench time, which may well of prompted him to consider his future in the sport. If his team were to sign another QB, would there be room for him, and would any other team give him a chance?

Which celebrities should, could, and will be apart of the 2015 New York City Marathon? Will any of the 2014 runners dust themselves off and be back for more of the fun next year, or was this year enough for them?
