Diem Brown Death: Friends and Fans React on Twitter and Instagram

After a grueling battle with cancer, Diem Brown has sadly lost her battle, however her fight and encouraging spirit are not forgotten, but embraced by her loved ones. Fans, family and friends have taken to social media to remember the MTV Challenge star that lost her nearly 10-year battle with cancer at just 32-years-old.

Fellow MTV co-star Mark Long posted to his Instagram, "This is how I will always remember @diembrownmtv full of spunk and fight Heaven just got a very special gift! And those who knew her on earth were lucky. My heart is heavy today. God Bless you Diem."

Brown’s death comes just days after the reality-star pleaded for prayers and support, “I NEED PRAYERS and advice my doctors are seemingly giving up but I won’t & can’t rollover. Whatever option I have to LIVE I’m grabbing!” She posted Tuesday (November 11)

MTV The Challenge, which Diem was a part of since 2006 and made her first reveal of her illness on the show, said, “It’s with a heavy heart, we say goodbye to our longtime friend. Our thoughts are with her loved ones.”

Pattie Stanger, star of Millionaire Matchmaker wrote, “Just heard the very sad news @DiemBrownMTV may you RIP. I’ve never seen more courageous woman in my life. You will not be forgotten! Xo”

 Simone Kelly, an MTV News correspondent said, “She was so sweet, humble, yet so strong…I’ve never met someone who could light up a dance floor longer than me. Diem, u were amazing! She’s won many battles but this one she could no longer fight.” Travis Wall wrote about Brown’s famous dance moves: “My dear friend Diem passed away this morning. We used to have the most outrageous dance battles! We will miss you!” –– adding, “I HATE CANCER.”
